Are wakeboard bindings one size fits all?

The answer determines whether you’ll want a boot/binding setup sized to just you or one designed to accommodate a much broader size range. The latter may be more versatile but keep in mind they will also likely be less supportive.

What size wakeboard do pros ride?

Most pros are riding around 140. Definitely understand both above posts. I was just curious on the smaller boards, I would never attempt to ride anything smaller than a 138. But I am strongly considering the 138 hoping to have a little bit of a lighter board and still maintain a fast board.

The system boots run small. If you wear a 10.5-11 you may want to even consider a 12.

Wakeboard bindings generally come in four main types:

  • Sandal bindings (not common, but we will cover anyway).
  • Open-toe bindings.
  • Closed-toe bindings.
  • Step-in bindings. (A variation of closed-toe, but worth discussing separately)
