How do you start off a wakeboard?

Is it hard to get up on a wakeboard?

Getting up on a wakeboard can be challenging because there are a lot of things that need to occur with the right time and sequence. But the main issue is that learners typically try to pull themselves out of the water instead of letting the boat pull them.

How do you stand up on a wakeboard?

Grip the handle firmly and keep your elbows slightly bent. Stand up slowly. Once the force of the boat has popped the wakeboard on top of the water, begin to straighten your legs, keeping your knees slightly bent to absorb some of the impact. Point your forward hip toward the tow-rope handle.

Where should your weight be when wakeboarding?

Correct Body Position

Your weight should be centered between both feet, and your knees should be slightly bent. Your shoulders and hips need to be lined up with the board. While holding the tow rope, your elbows should be straight and the handle should be in front of your hips between your knees.
